Vintage Gransfors Bruk AB Forest Hunters Axe Hachet Prima Hickory w/ Sheath

Description

The Gränsfors Hunter’s Axe is specially made for the hunter, and is great for chopping wood and meat. The grip of the handle has circular grooves which give a steady grip even if your hands are wet or sticky.
It says Gransfors Bruks AB and Prima Hickory on the handle. And has intials KS. The axe comes with a leather sheath however notice in the last photo
of the sheath there is a bottom rivet missing.  Otherwise comes as shown in the photos. Has been kept in the collection.
The Gränsfors Hunter’s Axe is a winner of the Excellent Swedish Design award.
This axe is about 18 7/8" long total.  This comes from a large collection of axes and knives being sold here on auction. The owner can
no longer enjoy his collection and needs to sell them.
