    Description

APOLLO 11 20th ANNIVERSARY 7/21/89 POLISH FIRST DAY COVER
    APOLLO 11 PATCH CACHET SC# 2910
The cachet for this cover is a brown, white and blue replica of the Apollo 11 shoulder patch.
The cover is a FIRST DAY OF ISSUE for a stamp honoring the 20th anniversary of the Apollo Moon landing. The stamp contains a photo of an astronaut during a walk on the Moon in a spacesuit with an American flag shoulder patch. The Lunar Module is behind him.
The cancellation is a circular cancel for the first day of issue of this stamp. The cancellation includes a likeness of the Lunar Module, the date 1989.07.21 and the location of the cancellation "Warszawa".
This is a very attractive unaddressed and unsealed cover.
